Hash Code is an annual programming event where teams of students and developers solve one problem inspired by software engineering at Google. The 2021 edition had over 128 000 registered participants and hundreds of hubs around the world.

Hash Code is my community contribution side project at work. I’ve been part of the volunteer engineering team at Google that created the competition back in 2013/2014, and then scaled it to the global event that it is today.
For more thoughts and my subjective view of the history of the competition see Hash Code: 10 years of coding & pizza .
